SCRIP NEWS - TUITION INCENTIVE PROGRAM       

Dear Families,

     What a wonderful first year of the Tuition Incentive Scrip Program we have had!  Just over $389,000 worth of scrip was purchased by our families.  This resulted in $18,698 being earned this year from the sales!  This is a 4.8% return.  Our biggest savings by a single family was $2450!  Another family earned $1800, and several just over $1000.  That's right - these families reduced their 2009/2010 tuition expenses by these amounts!

     One of my favorite things about this program is how participating families find tips to help increase their earning power, and then pass these tips along.  For instance, for your Sears purchases order Lands End cards and earn 17% rebate.   For purchases from the few non-participating scrip retailers (such as the Cobb 16 Theatres or Target) you can shop with a prepaid American Express scrip card to earn a rebate.  For gasoline purchases, use the 4% Winn Dixie cards to purchase your gas cards while shopping for your groceries to earn an extra 2% (most gas cards earn 2% only).
