About Me

Chicago is my hometown, but I have lived in Tuscaloosa for 27 years.

I began working at Holy Spirit Catholic School in 1994. I teach elementary art (K-6), Art I (Junior & Senior), Photography (Junior & Senior) and 8th Grade Art.

I have three children: Jessica graduated from Holy Spirit in 2005 and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009, Zachary graduated from Holy Spirit in 2007 and Hannah graduated from Holy Spirit in 2009 who both attend the University of Alabama.

In addition to teaching, I also help sponsor the Fine Arts Booster Club. I am a member of the Kentuck Clay Co-op.

Our school is a member of Artsonia.com , the largest online student art museum. Artsonia showcases artwork from thousands of schools around the world. Arsonia's goals are to develop students' pride and self-esteem, increase their multicultural understanding through art and involve parents and relatives in student education and accomplishments.

As a security feature, Artsonia requires the parent to pre-approve all comments before they are posted on the website. This is one of the many examples of how important your child's safety and privacy are to Artsonia. To register online please download the form by clicking here .
