Campus Ministry is where faith becomes active at Holy Spirit. Led by our Campus Minister, the program fosters reverent, faith-filled worship, builds genuine community among students, and creates real opportunities for compassionate outreach and formative catechesis all rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and in response to the Church's mission of evangelization.
Every student at Holy Spirit is invited into this life of faith through the Eucharist, daily prayer, retreats, and the traditions of prayer and devotion that shape our school community.
Some students are called further still. Each year, a student Campus Ministry Team is entrusted with specific responsibility for guiding the spiritual life of their peers. Working closely with the Campus Minister, these students plan and lead:
- Liturgical celebrations, bringing the school community together in worship
- Retreats, shaping the reflection and growth experienced at every grade level
- Faith groups and Bible studies, forming and launching their peers into a greater relationship with Christ
- Prayer services, marking key moments in the school year
- Seasonal devotions, especially during Advent and Lent
- Special projects in support of the needy, putting faith into action through service
Serving on the Campus Ministry Team is a responsibility, a privilege, and an opportunity for students to grow as leaders of faith among their peers, not just participants.
Beyond these programs, the Campus Minister and the Campus Ministry Team are a steady presence for any student in need of prayer, comfort, or accompaniment. Whether a student wants to dive into the depths of the faith or simply needs support, Campus Ministry's door is open.
