Hello! My name is Kade Foster, and it is a privilege to serve as Campus Minister at Holy Spirit. I have been teaching at Holy Spirit for 5 years and am in my third year as Campus Minister. My own path here ran through Catholic elementary, middle, and high schools, then bachelor's degrees in Communication Studies and Classical Civilizations at the University of Alabama, and I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Catholic School Administration through Pontifex University.

I am wholeheartedly committed to the spiritual and moral formation of every student here. Understanding that each of us are created in the image of God, endowed with intellect, free will, and the capacity to love, I believe true formation begins with an encounter with Christ, and grows through human, spiritual, intellectual, and apostolic formation. My mandate as Campus Minister is simple to state and lifelong to live: to guide students in knowing, loving, and serving the Lord, so that they might come to know profound intimacy with Jesus Christ. 

This work is personal to me. In high school, I was mentored and challenged by a few good men who taught me to reject worldliness and take seriously the cost of discipleship. I strive to be that same kind of guide for students here. It has been a profound blessing to watch students accept Christ's call to conversion by striving to live lives of prayer, fasting, and service rooted in the sacramental life of the Church. My hope is that every student at Holy Spirit is presented with the truths of the Gospel and walked through what it looks like to live them out.

As Campus Minister, I plan and lead all student retreats, oversee reverence and preparation for our liturgical life, and mentor students who lead their peers in small groups, Bible studies, and Theology of the Body discussions. More broadly, I care for the spiritual life of the whole school community.
